QuickThoughts Survey App Review: Is It Real Or A Waste of Time?
Whether you are looking for some extra spare cash or a full-time work at home opportunity, the Internet is ripe with potential for making money if you know where to look. Some opportunities like QuickThoughts claim to reward you for spending your free time taking surveys. But can you make enough to make it worth your time? What is QuickThoughts?
Quickthoughtsapp.com is website that pays rewards for completing surveys and location-based activities.The app was first launched in 2013 and is owned by Survey Sampling International. The company's headquarters are located in Shelton, Connecticut. The company has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau but no accreditation.
How Does QuickThoughts Work?
You can download the app on any Apple or Android device and register a free account. If you don't have a mobile device, you can create an account directly on the QuickThoughts website and log in there to complete surveys. There are numerous surveys available that range anywhere from 5-30 minutes. Surveys pay out anywhere from $0.50-$3 per survey, depending on their length. You may have to answer a few pre-qualifying questions before each survey. But unlike many other survey apps, you get $0.10 when you are disqualified. Other sites don't give you anything. You can also earn rewards by participating in location-based activities. Depending on where you live, you can get paid for completing certain tasks while you are out and about. These tasks include things like checking into a store, taking pictures of a display, or taking an in-store poll.
Unfortunately, the surveys payout might not be enough and you may have to consider other sources of income like taking more surveys on SurveyJunkie.com. You can also complete tasks like watching videos or visiting websites and so much more in the comfort of your house on FusionCash.com, Swagbucks.com, and InBoxDollars.com.
How Does QuickThoughts Pay You?
At the time of this review, the app pays out rewards with gift cards from either Amazon or iTunes depending on what mobile device you use. If you are using an Apple device, you will only receive the iTunes card. If you are using an Android device, you are only eligible for the Amazon gift card. There is a $10 minimum payout. When you redeem, you will receive a gift code by email along with instructions on how to use it. There is no limit to the amount of gift codes you can receive. QuickThoughts Complaints
So, in theory, this all sounds good but it's not. There are some complaints and concerns about QuickThoughts that you should be aware of. It doesn't mean it's a flat out scam. But we don't want you to waste your time or be surprised. So let's dive into them below.
Don't Quit Your Day Job: You can't earn any real cash with the app because the company only pays out in gift cards. And you won't make a whole lot in gift cards even if you spent all your time completing surveys. Plus, you are limited to what gift card you can receive based on what mobile device you are using. Payout Trouble: Some members have complained that the company has shut down or frozen their accounts because of “suspicious activity” and they lost their earned rewards. Others simply just didn't receive their payouts.
You can also try out other companies that have no payment problems like a survey company that pays you money. There are also companies like ,, and that also pay cash when you download apps or read emails amongst other tasks.
Limited Location Based Activities: You may not be able to access any of the activities depending on where you live. This limits your earnings with the app to only the surveys.
No Sign-Up Rewards: The app does not appear to offer to sign up rewards or bonuses. There is also does not seem to be a referral program where you can earn money from referring others to join
If the idea of earning gift cards turned you off you may consider checking out companies like , , and which pays you actual money after completing the simple task like watching videos or visiting websites. Apart from that, there are also other legitimate survey companies like that will pay you cash. How cool is that?
After reading all the other QuickThoughts reviews as well as mine, you should have a complete understanding of how the website works and what it has to offer.
